Pettis County Deputies Make Arrests in Sedalia Drug Bust

Pettis County deputies and detectives with the Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant on December 3 in the 2400 block of Smasal Rd.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office says a large amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, marijuana and packaging materials were located. Three Sedalia residents - Roderick R. Vose, Karena Heatwole, and Tyrle R. Hice - were arrested on a variety of charges.

Arrested:

Roderick R. Vose:

• Possession of a controlled substance (meth)
• Possession of marijuana and packaging materials
• Possession with the intent to distribute
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Endangering the welfare of a child
• Delivery of a controlled substance
• Active Pettis County warrant

Karena Heatwole:

• Johnson County warrant
• Pettis County warrant for probation violation
• Pending charges of child endangerment

Tyler R. Hice:

• Pettis County felony warrant for assault
• Pending charges of drug possession
