Pettis County deputies arrested Christopher Sidener in the 10,000 block of Highway 52 on Thursday evening. He was charged with speeding, careless and imprudent driving, resisting arrest and no valid driver's license.


 

On Wednesday evening, Pettis County deputies took a report of possible child abuse in the 5,000 block of South Limit. An investigation is under way.


 

On Wednesday afternoon, Pettis County deputies took a burglary report in the 4800 block of South Limit.


 

On Tuesday, March 31, Pettis County deputies arrested Ashton Richardson of Independence during a traffic stop at La Monte for an outstanding warrant from Henry County. Richardson was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Monday, March 30, Pettis County deputies took a burglary report in La Monte. A lock on a storage unit was broken, but it was unknown if any items were taken, a report said.


 

On Sunday, March 29, Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop in La Monte. Arrested was Aggie Grubb of Kansas City. Grubb was charged with speeding (16-19 mph over), and failure to register a motor vehicle. Grubb was also wanted on an FTA warrant out of Sedalia.

 


 

On Sunday, March 29, Pettis County deputies took a burglary report at Route AA and Voting House Road. An investigation is under way.


 

On March 18, a suicidal man in his late 40s was taken into protective custody in south Central Pettis County. He was then transported to the University of Missouri-Columbia Psychiatric Center for evaluation.


 

On Sunday, March 29 at 12:30 a.m., Pettis County deputies were conducting business checks in the area of New York and 28th, when they discovered several "pull-behind" RVs had been broken into. There are no suspects in the case. On Saturday, March 28, Pettis County deputies located an illegal dumping site near an open water source on Limestone Valley Road. Evidence was collected and suspects are being sought.


 

On March 27 at 6:49 p.m., Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway HH, west of Tangle Nook Road. The driver, Ahmad Dupree was arrested for driving while revoked, DWI-drugs and possession of marijuana.


 

On Friday, March 27 at 8:20 p.m., Pettis County deputies spoke with a man who said he was assaulted by another male at a storage unit at 1410 Boonville Road.


 

 

On Friday, March 27 at 7 p.m., Pettis County deputies took a burglary report that occurred at a vacant home in the 27000 block of Griessen Road. However, it was later determined that it was a trespassing issue by a subject known to the victim. The victim did not wish to pursue charges.


 

On Thursday, March 26, Pettis County deputies took a theft report in the 29,000 block of Apple Valley Road. taken were two propane bottles. There are no suspects.
