Pettis County Sheriff’s Office Reports for January 10, 2020

On Thursday around 7 a.m., a search warrant was served in the 600 block of East Booonville by Pettis County deputies, Sedalia Police and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force.

During a subsequent search of the residence, drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine were located.

52-year-old James L. Long, Jr., was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail, and held pending the filing of formal charges by the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office for possession and distribution of a controlled substance.

On Thursday, Pettis County deputies contacted Ashley Irene Moore in the 5600 block of South Limit, and discovered that she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody, and transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked.

On Wednesday, a man reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that he has been receiving harassing phone calls by a person known to him. Investigation continues.

On Tuesday, Pettis County deputies arrested Goldie Williams in the 3400 West Broadway on a Municipal warrant for failure to appear for animal violations. Her bond was $250.
