On the morning of May 17th, Pettis County Deputies took a report of an attempt to pass counterfeit bills. The suspect tried to use the counterfeit bills to purchase gasoline at the Roadway Barbecue and Zedz Discount Smokes and Liquor in La Monte, 22051 Chevalier Road.
