This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff''s Office:

On Monday morning at 4:07 a.m., Pettis County deputies arrested David T. Boggs of Sedalia after responding to the 5600 block of US 65 on shots fired. The suspect was described a black male wearing a gray shirt. He was located walking north on 65. Boggs then attempted to flee from deputies, but was soon apprehended. Boggs was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, delivery of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm after he was found to be in possession of a large amount of marijuana and digital scales, along with a High Point .45 caliber weapon. Deputies are working with the ATF to obtain federal charges. No bond was issued for Boggs.


 

On Monday afternoon, Pettis County deputies took a stolen vehicle report in the 400 block of North Main in Green Ridge. A few hours later, deputies located the vehicle traveling north in Wisdom Road and conducted a vehicle stop. Two males fled the area, but a passenger, James D. Kohrs of Columbia, was arrested for 2nd degree Tampering and Receiving Stolen Property.


 

On Monday, Chad Cook reported his license plate was lost or stolen sometime in the past week.


 

On Sunday, Pettis County deputies arrested Alfonso Kirkwood for a 12-hour protective custody hold at the Sheriff's Office.
