This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office:

On Monday, June 21 at 3:15 a.m., The Pettis County K9 Unit was patrolling the area of Highway B and Clare Lane, a subject with an active Pettis County warrant was observed. Nikolay Boyko was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Monday, June 21 at 3:15 a.m., the Pettis County K9 Unit was assisting the SPD with attempting to locate a runaway juvenile in the area of Highway U and McVey, when he came into contact with Kyle Henley of Sedalia. Henley was wanted on a warrant and was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Saturday, June 19 at 3:40 a.m., the Pettis County K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop at US 65 and 18th street in Sedalia, for an equipment violation. A computer check revealed that the front seat passenger, identified as Chelsea Moore, was wanted on a warrant. The driver, identified as Cora Hathaway, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Both were arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. The PCSO thanked the SPD for their assistance during the traffic stop.


 

On Saturday, June 19, Pettis County Deputies took a report of possible trespassing and stealing in the 21000 block of Cloney Road. Investigation continues.


 

On Wednesday, June 16, a Pettis County Deputy was on patrol in the area of McVey and Chapel Road around 11:50 p.m., when he conducted a traffic stop on a yellow motorcycle for no plates displayed. The driver told the Deputy he just bought the motorcycle and attempted to register the bike that day and was unable to do so. The driver did have the title in hand and had current insurance on the bike. A computer check on the VIN came back clear on a 2007 Triumph. A computer check of the passenger, 31-year-old Spencer M. Kumberg, revealed he was wanted on a Benton County warrant. The warrant was confirmed and Kumberg was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond. He now has a June 22 court date.
