Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for October 25, 2020
On Sunday, Oct. 25, Pettis County deputies responded to the 1300 block of Elm Hills Blvd., on a physical disturbance not in progress. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Jose P. Paz for violation of full order of protection (adult) and transported to the Pettis County Jail.
On Saturday, Oct. 24 shortly before 3 p.m., Pettis County deputies responded to 4065 Par 5 Drive on a disturbance in progress. No charges were pursued by the complainant, but trespass warnings were given.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, Pettis County deputies responded to 18028 Highway 52 (Green Ridge) to take a property damage report. A fence was damaged sometime between Oct. 23 and 24. Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.
On Saturday morning, Oct. 24, Pettis County deputies responded to the 3000 block of Brooking Park on a missing person report.
Early Saturday morning, Oct. 24 at 2:24 a.m., Pettis County deputies responded to the 24000 block of Post Oak Road (Georgetown) on a foot pursuit. Unrelated to the pursuit, 29-year-old Damien Cloe of Sedalia, was arrested on an outstanding warrant through Probation and Parole.
On Saturday morning at 1 a.m., Oct. 24, Pettis County deputies responded to the 3000 block of Highway U on a report of shots fired. 36-year-old Ashley Schoenthal of Sedalia was arrested upon arrival, unrelated to the call. Schoenthal was taken to the Pettis County Jail on active warrants.
On Friday, Oct. 23 at 1:41 a.m., Mid-Mo Drug Task Force Detectives and Pettis County Deputies responded to 5650 South Limit on a subject with an outstanding warrant. Amber Leigh Vanalstine was arrested for warrants on original charges of possession of a controlled substance and 1st degree tampering with a motor vehicle. Bond for her was set at $30,000.
On Wednesday, Oct. 21, Raymond Flair reported the theft of packages from his residence, in the 3100 block of Tebo Road. The packages were stolen from his front porch around 5 p.m. Oct. 18. The case is under investigation by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.
On Wednesday, Oct. 21, Jaylea Dove reported the theft of her gold 2010 Dodge Avenger. The vehicle was later located on North Ewing Drive undamaged and returned to the owner. The incident is under investigation by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.
