Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for September 4, 2020
On Wednesday, Michael Arp reported the theft of an air compressor in the 25000 block of Bothwell Park Road. There are no leads or suspects in the case.
On Wednesday, Pettis County deputies took a property damage report in the 1400 block of Elm Hills Blvd., involving a vehicle. No suspects have been identified. Anyone with information is urged to call the Pettis Couty Sheriff's Department.
On Wednesday at 2:05 a.m., Pettis County deputies were waved down by a subject reporting a physical disturbance at the American Inn, 1217 South Limit, in Sedalia. Investigation led to the arrest of 36-year-old Anthony Henson of Sedalia. He was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
On Tuesday, Pettis County deputies and PCAD responded to a report of a man down in the 4000 block of Lakeshore. According to the report, the subject suffered a medical episode and could not be revived. The Pettis County Assistant Coroner arrived on scene after all life-saving measures were exhausted. The deceased's name was withheld in the report.
On Aug. 31, Pettis County deputies responded to the 30000 block of Clare Lane, in reference to a male trespassing on the property. The suspect left the area prior to the deputy's arrival.
On Aug. 28, Tammy Henderson reported the theft of two large red stand-up compressors, taken from her deceased father's residence on Voting House Road.
On Aug. 26, Pettis County deputies took a property damage report involving a vehicle in the 1500 block of East 40th Street Terrace. No suspects were identified. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.
On Aug. 24, Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop at US 65 and Meadowlark. The driver, identified as James Wallace, was arrested on two Cooper County warrants and transported to the Pettis County Jail with a bond of $226.
