Portion of Park Closed Tuesday Through Friday

The City of Sedalia will close South Park Avenue to the north of Broadway (US Highway 50) and south of West 6th Street to through traffic from 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3 until 7 p.m. on Friday, May. 6.
Residents along South Park Avenue will be able to access their driveways during this time.

The City’s contractor will be installing storm sewer improvements in the area to reduce overtopping of street gutters and curb inlets.

Heavy equipment and personnel will be in the area and it was determined the safest alternative is to close the street during this period to through traffic to allow for the work to be completed safely and timely.

Travelers in the area are advised to find an alternate route to their destination.
