Ray County Accident Claims Life of Spickard Woman

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident that occurred in Ray County on Sunday morning that killed a woman from Spickard, Missouri.

The wreck happened at 7:30 on Highway 13 at Route FF when a southbound 2006 Pontiac driven by 40-year-old Amanda L. Keathley of Spickard failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway and struck a culvert, causing it to overturn. The driver was ejected and was later pronounced dead at Ray County Memorial Hospital.

Keathley was not wearing a safety device, according to the report. The Pontiac was totaled.

Spickard is located on US 65, north of Trenton.
