Two females from Orrick were injured when one Jeep pulled into the path of another Jeep Sunday afternoon in Ray County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 206 Jeep Liberty, driven by 54-year-old Susan E. Martin of Orrick, was at 210 and Brashears Road at 2:15 p.m., when she pulled into the path of a westbound 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 39-year-old Camden D. Summers of Camden.

After the collision, the Jeep Liberty overturned and struck a pole. Martin and her passenger, an 11-year-old female, suffered serious injuries, and were transported by air ambulance to Centerpoint Hospital and Children's Mercy, respectively.

None were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.

Ray County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
