Raymond Lester Simmons Sr., 74

Raymond Lester Simmons, Sr. 74, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He was born on December 4, 1939 in Sedalia, MO, a son of Raymond L. and Beulah Bechtel Simmons. On December 12, 1970 he was united in marriage to Sherry Estes, who survives of the home.   He is also survived by a son, Raymond L. Simmons, Jr., a daughter, Kim Volk and her husband Lee all of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Trevor, Shelby, Brittany and Brennan; a brother, Robert Simmons and his wife Rita, of Sedalia.   Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Kenneth Simmons and a sister Pat Acherman.    The will be no services.    Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
