Ronald Dean Loucks, 57, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013 at his home.  He was born on October 22, 1955, in Sedalia, a son of John E. Loucks, who preceded him in death and Margie (Pierce) Arnold, who survives Sedalia.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles watching the KC Chiefs, Royals and NASCAR.  Ron served his country honorably in the US Army from 1975-1981.  He was a member of Elks Lodge BPOE #1492 and attended the Celebration Center, Sedalia.

He is survived by his twin sister, Connie (Robert) Vermillion of Edwards, MO; one stepsister, Brenda (Gary) McChristion of Oak Grove, MO; two brothers, Larry Loucks of Sedalia, Jeff Loucks of Sedalia; and stepfather, Ernest Arnold of Sedalia.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one stepbrother, Ray Twyman.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, August 1, 2013, at The Celebration Center, Sedalia, with Rev. Jim Downing officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Bothwell Hospice or the American Cancer Society in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Burial of ashes will be at a later date at Hopewell Cemetery.

In honor of Ron, Chiefs jerseys or shirts are welcomed to be worn for service.
