Teams of combined first and second graders and teams of combined third and fourth graders will be formed at each elementary school. Separate boys and girls teams will be created. The press release notes that Thomas and Tester, as the league commissioners, reserve the right to combine teams/schools as needed.

The teams will be coached by parent volunteers, who will be required to attend a coaches’ meeting/clinic before the start of practices. Teams will practice twice a week beginning in late October, with games played on Saturday mornings at Smith-Cotton High School from November 4 through December 16.

The cost for each player is $40.00 and includes a T-shirt, that will serve as the player’s uniform.

Thomas and Tester will visit each elementary school to pass out league flyers and share information about the program.

For more information or to volunteer to coach a team, call coach Thomas at 660-281-6081, or coach Tester at 660-287-0434.
