Smith-Cotton Wrestling took the mat for the first home meet of the year Tuesday night against Camdenton. Results are as follows:

Winning for Smith-Cotton were Adarein Hawkins (120 pounds), Santiago Silva (126), Chad Culp (132), Ayden Haulotte (150), Lincoln Keele (157), Keaton Belsha (175), and Jerian Maupins (215).
Varsity Girls

Smith-Cotton 48, Camdenton 24

Winning for Smith-Cotton were Sarah Davis (100 pounds), Jazlyn Smith-Freeman (120), Mikayla Wiley (125), Jasmine Wolfe (130), Ellie Fiorino (135), Kylie Guerrero (140), Brooklyn Hoecker (170), and Jameshia Bennett (235).
JV Boys (no team score kept)

Josh Castiglia, Konnor Cochran, Hunter Langdon, Timur Askerov, Xadrian McGruder, Jayden Archibeque, Koleman Fredrickson, Zander Heaton, Noah Sipe, and Phillip Chastain got wins for the Tigers.

Smith-Cotton Head Coach Joe Hulsey: “It was a great night of wrestling all around by our kids! We saw a lot of good things that we can continue to build on. Proud of our kids tonight."

Both the boys and girls varsity teams start the season 1-0.
