
S-C’s Adams to Play Volleyball at William Woods
Smith-Cotton High School senior Lennon Adams has accepted an athletic scholarship to play volleyball at William Woods University in Fulton.
Adams, the daughter of Dorsey and Jennifer Adams, played four years on varsity, earning letters each year and serving as team captain her senior year.
She earned All[1]State Academic recognition in 2022 and ’23, and was selected to the CMAC All[1]Conference and All-District Honorable Mention teams in 2022. This year, she was selected Second Team All-District.

S-C Volleyball Head Coach Emily Ruckman said: “Lennon’s dedication and passion have made her a beloved leader on our team, inspiring those around her with hard work. She brings energy, focus, and kindness to every practice and match, always putting her teammates first. Lennon, we’ll miss you dearly but are so excited to see all the wonderful things you’ll accomplish in this next chapter.”
