The Sacred Heart Junior High boys "A" team (4-3, 3-2) improved their record to 4-3 with a 32-18 win over Lincoln last night in Lincoln.

SH was led in scoring by Wyatt Damlo with 15 points and Miles Hostetler with 8. Cash Conardy had an excellent defensive outing and Kyler Downing contributed 6 rebounds to the cause.

The “B” team boys (6-1, 4-1) lost to Lincoln by a score of 10-7. It was their first loss of the season. Tyler Twenter scored 4 points to lead the Grems.

Their next action is Wednesday in the opening round of the Sacred Heart Junior High Tournament when they take on the Northwest Mustangs in a 7 p.m. start.


 

The Sacred Heart Junior High Lady Gremlins defeated the Lincoln Lady Cardinals in Lincoln last night 38-19. This brings the Lady Grems to 4-2 (3-1) on the season.

The girls played great team defense, holding Lincoln to 10 points through three quarters. The effort and hustle was evident from the beginning of the game.

Diving after loose balls (Lauren Diller) hitting the glass, and handling Lincolns press were all key to a total team victory. Addison Figie with 13 points leading the way in scoring, Maggie Van Leer with 9, and Aspen Carl with 6.

Paisley Carl led the team with 5 assists. Anna Carney had a team high 6 rebounds followed by Maggie Van Leer with 5.

"Sometimes, stats don't tell the story as Ava Judd had an excellent overall floor game," commented the coach.
