The Sacred Heart Junior High Lady Gremlins took third place in the Kaysinger conference tournament defeating the Windsor Greyhounds, 21-14, on Saturday.

This brings their record to 11-4 on the year.

“These girls have put in so much work in the offseason. They have worked very hard for the last three months during the season and it was great for the girls’ to EARN 3rd place. With all that time invested in our girls basketball program, it was nice to see them bring home a trophy. So, so proud of this bunch!!” commented the coach.
Paisley Carl led the team in scoring with 7 points followed by Maggie Van Leer with 5 points. Aspen Carl, Maggie Van Leer, and Anna Carney all had 5+rebounds. Aspen Carl led the team with 4 steals and Addie Figge was a menace all over the court and took care of the ball with no turnovers.


 
The Sacred Heart Junior High boys "A" team (9-7, 4-4) lost in the third-place game of the Kaysinger Tournament on Saturday to the Green Ridge Tigers by a score of 42-30.

Miles Hostetler led the Grems with 10 points and 7 rebounds.

The Grems resume conference play on Monday night taking on the LaMonte Vikings in LaMonte. Girls action starts at 5:30, followed by boys games.
