The Junior High Boys “A” (9-0, 6-0) won two games on Saturday to bring home the first place trophy in the Gremlin Invite Junior High Basketball Tournament.

In the first game of the day the Grems beat Tipton 46-12. Carter Rice led the way for the Grems with 13 points and Grant Goodwin chipped in 10. Reuber Smith contributed 4 points and 5 rebounds.

In the afternoon game the Grems took on the Stover Bulldogs and came away with a 48-26 victory. Grant Goodwin led the scoring with 17. George Bain chipped in 6 points and 5 rebounds.

The boys next action is on Tuesday, January 28 as the Grems travel to Windsor for a conference matchup. Boys games follow the girls action.
