Sarah Cotton Honored by Smith-Cotton Students

To honor one of Sarah Cotton’s final requests, each year on her birthday, Oct. 1, members of the Smith-Cotton High School chapter of the National Honor Society and the Smith-Cotton Junior High chapter of the National Junior Honor Society place flowers at Cotton’s gravesite.

Cotton donated the land where S-C Junior High – previously S-C High School – is located.
