The Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce it will host its inaugural Business Expo this fall.

The Expo will be hosted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. This will be a great opportunity for local businesses to showcase what they have to offer other businesses and the Sedalia community.

“After several years of Myrna Ragar urging the Chamber board to host a business expo, a committee was formed and plans have been made,” Chamber President John Meehan said. “I'm excited to say the committee has been working hard to make the 2018 Chamber Business Expo a huge success.”

The event is open to the public and admission is free. Student entertainment will be scheduled throughout the day, which will attract parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. Booths will be piped and draped and guests will be given the red-carpet treatment. Wi-Fi will be available.

Sponsorship opportunities are now available:

• Platinum Sponsorships are available from May 1 to May 15, available only to current Chamber members.

• Gold Sponsorships will be available May 16, available only to current Chamber members.

• Open Expo registration starts May 30 and will close Sept. 14. This is open to all local businesses, but current Chamber members will receive a discounted rate.
