The Sedalia Area Farmers' Market is still offering winter hours at the First United Methodist Church Celebration Center.

Producers and vendors will offer fresh veggies and fruits every Thursday afternoon from 3:00 - 6:00.

A few months ago, the Sedalia Area Farmers' Market was accepted to provide Double Up Food Bucks.

Double Up Food Bucks is described as a 'Healthy Food Incentive' which is funded by a grant that helps low-income Americans bring home more healthy food while supporting family farmers and growing local economies.

Customers can use EBT cards, as part of SNAP, and receive up to $25.00 in matching funds per market visit. The Farmers' Market says the incentive applies to vegetables, fruits, and plants that produce foods.

For more information, stop by the Sedalia Area Farmer's Market each Thursday or visit their Facebook page. It was noted that the market will not be offering services December 28.

The FUMC Celebration Center is located at 1701 W. 32nd Street.
