Sedalian Arrested After Pursuit Through Pettis County
On Tuesday at 1:44 a.m., Pettis County deputies attempted to conducted a traffic stop at Boonville and Heard in Sedalia for traffic offenses.
The driver, identified as 20-year-old Braden A. Williams, failed to stop and accelerated, leading deputies on a pursuit. The chase ended in the northeast Pettis County, where Williams was taken into custody at Lilly Road and Olive Branch (near Route O).
Deputies requested charges of resisting arrest, careless and imprudent driving and other traffic-related charges.
Williams also was wanted on a Pettis County warrant for animal abuse.
The suspect was in possession of another animal at the time of the incident, the report noted.
