It took most of the season to drift by but I finally made it out to a Bombers game last night.  I always enjoy going to Dey field to watch America's past time.  You'd be hard-fetched to find another field like it in the Midwest.  It just exudes the way baseball was in the older days.  Watching parents, kids, men, and women enjoying a mid-July evening at the ol' ball park is hard to beat.  You see familiar faces from around the area.  Kids running up and down the stands just waiting for the next foul ball to leave a player's bat so they can retrieve it and return it to the concession stand for a free snow cone.  College players honing their skills as they get ready for their upcoming seasons at their higher institutions of learning.  Sunday is the last scheduled game of the season so if you get the chance, head to Liberty Park and enjoy a day of baseball with the Bombers.
