Sedalia City Administrator Candidate Interviews Scheduled Today

Interviews with the finalists for the City Administrator position will be conducted today starting at 5:30 at the Municipal Building, 2nd and Osage.

The public is invited to attend.

The interviews will also be available for viewing on Microsoft Teams. The link is on the city’s website.

The finalists toured the city on Wednesday from 8 to 5 and met with several department heads from the Sedalia Fire Department, Sedalia Police Department, Crown Hill Cemetery, Heckart Community Center, Public Works, Sedalia Animal Shelter and Sedalia Regional Airport.

According to Human Resources Director Shannon Ramey-Trull, The tour was designed to showcase the State Fair City to the candidates.

The candidates are here in Sedalia for three days. Wednesday was dedicated to touring the city. Friday and Saturday are dedicated to interviews of the finalists with department heads. There were a total of 33 candidates who applied for the position.
