The City of Sedalia has updated its construction project list for the week:

North Central Sidewalk Project

The planning and prep work are officially complete, and now it’s time to bring in the big machines. Beginning Tuesday, July 22, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works team will begin removal work on the west side of North Osage Avenue, between West Jefferson Street and West Henry Street, as part of the North Central Sidewalk Project. Downtown Roadway Painting: July 20–24

The City of Sedalia Public Works Department will be painting downtown roadways from Sunday, July 20, through Thursday, July 24. Work will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The affected area includes Lamine Avenue to Moniteau Avenue and Main Street to Broadway Boulevard.

Mill & Overlay on 16th Street: July 21–24

Mill and overlay operations are scheduled on East 16th Street from Engineer Avenue to New York Avenue beginning Monday, July 21, through Thursday, July 24, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
