Sedalia Couple Wins $5,000 Lottery Prize

A Sedalia couple has won a $5,000 prize playing the "Money Bags" scratchers game. Delmy and Enrique Barcenas said they were feeling “thankful and blessed,” after scratching the winning ticket the tickets they purchased at Woods Supermarket in Sedalia.

“The extra money will make things easier,” Delmy explained. Delmey, her husband and two daughters “kept counting the ticket to make sure it was right,” after uncovering the prize. “We thank the Lottery and God for the win,” Delmy added.

The Barcenas plan to use the money towards home improvements.
