Sedalia Curbside Collection Begins Tuesday

On Tuesday (Nov 6), Sedalia trash and recycling will begin curbside collection services.

The City of Sedalia says there are currently two side-loading trucks for use. One is the city’s new side-loading truck and the other is a rental, made available by the truck company.

The City says the other two trucks will be in later this month. There are also two rear-loading trucks equipped with cart tippers. With the equipment now available, Sedalia citizens should start using their new trash and recycling carts - effective this week.

It was noted that unless residents received a door hanger indicating to place your carts in the alley, carts should be placed curbside in order for the new trucks to reach them.

The City requests leaving carts at the curb or available in the alley until emptied.
