City Notes Macropaving Operation on 16th Street

The City of Sedalia’s Public Works Department will be conducting macropaving operations on 16th Street from New York Avenue to Marshall Avenue beginning Monday, Oct. 13 through Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025.

During this time, 16th Street will be closed to all traffic daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to allow crews to safely complete the work. Residents are asked to plan alternate routes and avoid the area when possible.

"We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we continue improving Sedalia’s streets and infrastructure," the City said in a press release on Friday.
