Police were called to the 1100 block of South Grand Avenue on Monday after receiving a complaint that a Sedalia man had violated an order of protection.

According to police, a woman told them that 26-year-old Casey Joseph Curry would not stop calling her, threatened to hurt her, and messaged her after being asked not to communicate about anything but child arrangements.

Curry was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail. He faces charges of violation of an ex parte/full order of protection, stalking and harassment.
