Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle just at 2:38 a.m. on September 27, and arrested its driver after reportedly discovering marijuana, pills, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

According to Sedalia Police, 28-year-old Jimmy DC Brown's vehicle was stopped near South Prospect Avenue and West 18th for having defective equipment and for having a not-on-file license plate.

During the stop, a K9 unit alerted to the vehicle, and a subsequent search led to the discovery of marijuana, controlled prescription pills and methamphetamine. Brown was arrested for possession of marijuana and controlled pills with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, controlled pills, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Brown was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
