A Sedalia man escaped serious injury after being ejected from his vehicle in a rollover accident that occurred Monday morning in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 40-year-old Jason Curry was the driver of a westbound 2000 Ford Contour on US 50, west of West Front Street (in the left lane) at 10:40 a.m, when the driver lost control of his vehicle, overcorrected and began to skid. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned, struck a concrete culvert and overturned, ejecting the driver. The Ford came to rest on its top facing east.

Curry had minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene. He was not wearing a safety device, according to the report.

The Ford was totaled and towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.
