Sedalia Man Gets Caught After Using Stolen Credit Card
On Sunday at 9:25 a.m., Sedalia Police responded to Casey's General Store, 716 W. 16th, to investigate a report of fraudulent use of a credit card.
Upon arrival, the officer met with the victim, who stated that sometime overnight, his wallet and its contents were stolen from his unlocked car while it was parked in front of his residence in the 1800 block of Park Avenue
The victim said that he was notified that someone had successfully used his CashApp card once, then tried to use it again at Casey's around 8:50 a.m. Sunday.
The suspect, 26-year-old Alexander Rhea Logan, who lives one block away from Casey's, was soon located and taken into custody for fraudulent use of a credit device and possession of stolen property.
Logan was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold.
