An open house was held Thursday evening at Smith-Cotton High School to gather public input from area residents concerning proposed changes to 32nd and Limit in an effort to improve safety and reduce congestion at the busy intersection.

Wilson and Company, Inc., an engineering and architectural firm, hosted the event in the school’s cafeteria, located about a mile south of the intersection in question. Several dozen people attended.

Company reps took questions and recorded feedback and will take that info and begin incorporating into rough draft designs.

The City of Sedalia commented “We appreciate everyone’s patience as the discussion found its footing tonight. Your thoughtful input helps ensure the project reflects the needs of the community.”
