As a reminder, the City of Sedalia is advising residents that pet license tags expire on December 31, 2025, and applications for a 2026 license are due by January 31, 2026, to avoid a penalty.
The fee for a pet license is $5 per pet per year for a spayed or neutered animal and $25 per pet per year for an animal that has not been spayed or neutered. There is also a limit of three pets per household.
To get your license, bring a current rabies vaccination certificate and proof of spay or neuter to the City of Sedalia Finance Department at 200 South Osage Avenue, Sedalia. For more information, call (660) 827-3000 ext. 1126 or 1129.
