Sedalia man jailed for domestic  assault, and property damage

At 3 o’clock Saturday morning, Sedalia police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of East 7th. Upon arrival, the victim reported the suspect Roger W. Lindsey Jr. of Sedalia had shoved the suspect and proceeded to break windows out of their house. Lindsey was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of 2nd degree property damage, and 3rd degree domestic assault.

 

51-year-old Sedalia woman arrested at Wal-Mart for stealing

Sedalia police were dispatched to WalMart store on a theft report that occurred over the weekend. Upon meeting with asset protection personnel, they were told the suspect, 51-year-old Valli Beeney of Sedalia, was
witnessed selecting and leaving the store with items she did not pay for. Beeney was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $531.50 bond.

 

Vandals target a woman’s vehicle on South Quincy

At 8:15 Sunday morning Sedalia police took a property damage complaint from a victim in the 1700  block
of South Quincy. According to the victim sometime overnight someone cut all four of the tires on her 1999 Ford Taurus. The police report states damages are in excess of $150. There are no suspects.

 

Local automotive company reports thefts Sunday morning

At 8 o’clock Sunday morning Sedalia police investigated reported thefts at Sedalia Automotive, at 3701 South Limit. According to the complainant, someone stole a checkbook, a car battery and a
dealer plate from the business sometime overnight. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

 

Vehicle found on its top in the 4100 block of West Broadway Sunday morning

At 3:30 Sunday morning, Sedalia police responded to the 4100 block of West Broadway on a vehicle lying on its top.  There were no occupants in the vehicle upon arrival. Also damaged in the incident was a Mo-Dot Adopt a Highway sign. There are no suspects in the case.

 

Burglars break into a house in the 600 block of East 9th

Sometime between the hours of 11 o’clock Sunday morning and 7 o’clock that night, someone broke into a residence inthe 600 block of East 9th,. The police report states the burglars gained entrance to the residence through a back window.  There were no suspects, and there was nothing in the police report on any items that might have been taken.

 

Pettis County Deputies arrest a suspect at the Probation and Parole Office

At 8:15 Monday morning, Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to the Probation and Parole Office on a warrant arrest. Upon arrival, deputies arrested Domenic R. Knop and transported him to jail pending a $1000 bond.

A victim reported the theft of his golf clubs Monday afternoon.  According to the victim, someone stole his golf clubs from the Sedalia Country Club one day last week. There are no suspects in the theft.

A suspect is being sought in a hit and run incident that took place early Sunday morning at 14th and Osage. The driver faces several charges including leaving the scene of an accident.
