Female suspect arrested at O'Reillys on an active warrant

Just before 1 o'clock Friday afternoon, the Sedalia police investigated a report of an ignition lock violation at O'Riellys at 2414 West Broadway. Upon arrival officers found a female suspect with a Pettis County Warrant for larceny. The police report states the female suspect was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail on a no bond warrant pending proof of citizenship.

 

Careless driver arrested Friday night for driving while revoked

At 7:06 Friday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle they had observed driving in a careless manner. A check through dispatch also found the driver, 30-year-old Steven Gladney of Sedalia, was revoked. At the time of the police report, Gladney was on 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.

 

Suspect faces charges in a theft from the K-Mart store Friday afternoon

At 4:27 Friday afternoon Sedalia police were dispatched to the K-Mart store on a theft complaint. Upon arrival the complainant told them a male suspect left the store with a Daisy Pellet Pistol without paying for it. The police report states a suspect is known in the case.

 

23-year-old Sedalia man arrested during a subject check Friday night

Around 11 o'clock Friday night, Sedalia police conducted a check on a subject in the area of Hurley, and Randolph. During the check officers found the male subject identified as 23-year-old Joshua Cochran of Sedalia was in possession of what appeared to be a small baggie of marijuana. Cochran was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released pending formal charges.

 

Female suspect arrested at WalMart on two warrants

At 10:23 Saturday morning, Sedalia police saw a female suspect in the Wal-Mart store known to have warrants. A check through dispatch revealed the suspect, 24-year-old Kyla Potter had two warrants out of Knob Noster. Potter was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $500 bond.

 

Warrensburg woman reports her cell phone stolen from her vehicle at Wal-Mart

The Sedalia police received a theft complaint from a Warrensburg woman on Friday night. According to the victim thieves took her cell phone valued at $500 from her vehicle while it was parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot. There were no suspects.

 

Man reports a loaner vehicle suffered a hit and run accident Friday night

A victim in the 1300 block of West 6th reported a hit and run accident to the Sedalia police on Friday night. According to the complainant the vehicle was a loaner from Hainen Ford in Tipton. There were no suspects, and no damage estimate was availible at the time of the police report.

 

License plate stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of South Park

Sometime overnight Friday according to a Sedalia police report someone stole the rear license plate from a Chevy Pickup, that was parked at a residence in the 700 block of South park. There were no suspects at news time.

Stephen Lappat of Sedalia was arrested on a failure to appear warrant Friday morning. Bond was set at $250 cash only.

23-year-old Joshua Bridges of Sedalia  was arrested Friday afternoon on an active municipal warrant. Bond is $150 cash only.
