Rape case reported involving a juvenile

On Wednesday, the Sedalia police investigated a missing juvenile that was reportedly located and had been the victim of a crime. The police report lists the offense as rape. The juvenile was taken to Bothwell Hospital, then on to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City by the parents. There was no other information in the police report.

 

Suspect sought in a case of pointing a gun at two victims

At 8:48 Wednesday night, Sedalia police responded to Plaza 16 at 120 East 16th on a disturbance involving a firearm. Upon arrival one of the victims told officers his friend had an argument with four people in the gas station’s parking lot, and as they left one of them pointed a rifle at them. At the time of the police report the suspect had not been located.

 

Sedalia police investigate a burglary on South Missouri

At 12:22 Wednesday morning, Sedalia police investigated a burglary that occurred sometime between 11 a.m. Wednesday and 11 p.m. that night. According to the victim, someone entered his apartment and stole a pistol, a laptop computer, two game consoles and a Toshiba Tablet. The police report states there is information on a possible suspect.

 

Burglary complaint filed by a victim in the 3300 block of West 32nd

At 1:22 Wednesday morning, a victim in the 3300 block of West 32nd reported an overnight burglary at his home. The victim told the Sedalia police someone entered his home and took several items. There were no suspects at news time.

 

Woman on East 10th reports her Pit Bull Puppy stolen

At 7:23 Tuesday night, Sedalia police took a theft complaint from a female victim in the 600 block of East 10th. According to the victim someone stole her Pit Bull puppy valued at $200 from her backyard sometime after 10:20 Tuesday morning. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.
