Female victim in the 1900 block of South Harrison reports an assault

Just after 8 o'clock Sunday night, Sedalia police responded to an assault complaint in the 1900 block of South Harrison. Upon arrival, a female victim told officers that a person known to her had forced entry to the home and assaulted them. The police report states one of the victims required medical attention. At the time of the report an investigation was ongoing.

 

Animal neglect and abuse case investigated Friday

Friday afternoon, Sedalia police investigated a case of animal abuse and neglect in the 300 block of West 10th. The police report states the dog was taken to the shelter pending a further follow-up investigation.

 

Thief attempts to steal an A/C condenser

At 6:09 Friday morning, Sedalia police investigated a theft complaint in the area of 5th and Washington. According to a complainant, a male subject was observed taking an A/C condenser from a home in the 300 block of East 4th. The complainant said he followed the suspect until he dropped the condenser, then he lost him. There was no other information in the police report.
