On Thursday (Jan 11), Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Officers made contact with the occupants and discovered the driver had a suspended license. Police also say a female passenger, 29-year old Lisa A. Santillan, of Warsaw, was found to have a no-bond FTA warrant from Greene County. Santillan and the driver were both arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. The name of the driver was not listed in the report.


On Thursday (Jan 11), Sedalia Police took a report of property damage in the 1900 block of E. 14th Street. The victim stated that someone had slashed a tire on her vehicle. The damage was estimated $106. There were no further details available in the report.


On Wednesday (Jan 10), Sedalia Police took a report of a forgery in the 400 block of E. 20th Street. According to the police report, a woman told officers that she received a collection notice from a company for a Speedy Cash loan, but she never had a loan with Speedy Cash. The total owed on the loan is over $1,500. At this time, there are no suspects.
