Wednesday afternoon, Sedalia Police responded to the 900 block of East 11th Street in regards to a theft no longer in progress. Lauren N. Davidson reported a package was stolen off of their front porch. The package was valued at $2,000.


 

Sedalia Police took a report in the lobby of the Police Department from Agnes L. Raines in regard to a hit and accident that occurred in the parking lot of 201 West 5th Street Wednesday morning. A report was completed, and the suspect is unknown at this time.


 

Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the 1800 block of East 14th in regards to a burglary and theft not in progress. The suspect stole property valued at $322.00 and left without forcing entry or exit. A subject at the home, not related to the burglary, was identified as having a warrant and was arrested without incident at scene. Christopher B. Quick, 31, was transported to the Pettis County Jail, whereupon he was booked for his Probation/Parole Violation warrant on original charges of Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Court date is to be determined, and bond was set at $2,000 cash or $2,500 surety.


 

An Officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Sneed Avenue Wednesday afternoon. The Officer recognized the driver and knew their driver's license was suspended. A computer check of the individual confirmed their license was suspended. Jillian K. White, 28, of Sedalia, was issued a citation for Driving While Suspended and given a court date.


 

Sunday afternoon, Officers were contacted by a subject in the parking lot of the Police Department in reference to a domestic assault. The victim stated that during the course of an argument, her husband choked her. The incident occurred in the apartments at 3100 Brianna Boulevard. Matthew J. Hutchinson, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested and placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail pending state charges of Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree.
