Wednesday morning, Officers made a traffic stop in the area of East Broadway and South Wagner on a vehicle that didn't have any license plates. Officers made contact with the driver, who admitted to driving without a license. Dispatch confirmed that the subject had a revoked license. Travis Freeman, 38, of Sedalia, was issued a citation with a court date for Driving While Revoked.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of East 17th Street and South Ohio Avenue. The driver was found to have a revoked license. Sarah D. Mcateer, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. Mcateer was booked and released for Driving While Revoked and given a court date.


 

Sedalia Police met with Amber N. Rhinehart in the lobby of the Sedalia Police Department in reference to an assault Wednesday morning. Rhinehart stated she was physically abused while being treated at a local medical facility in the 600 block of East 14th Street.


 

On the morning of April 15th, the Sedalia Police Department became aware that an inmate at the Pettis County Jail was violating a court order and attempting to tamper with a victim in a felony prosecution. An investigation was conducted, and charges are being requested.


 

Officers made contact with employees at the Eagle Stop gas station, 1515 Thompson Boulevard, in regards to forgery Sunday morning. An employee stated they received a fake bill from a customer. The bill was used to pay for merchandise on April 23rd.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 900 block of West 16th in regards to a child investigation Wednesday morning. The children were returned to their parent without incident or injury.


 

Sunday afternoon, Officers responded to the 600 block of East Broadway Boulevard in regards to a crash involving driving while intoxicated. Jaime Guzman, 46, of Sedalia, was arrested at the scene and taken to the Pettis County Jail on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (Prior Offender). Guzman was booked and released to a sober person with a court date to be determined.
