Sedalia Police Reports For April 7, 2022

Tuesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West 3rd Street for a report of found property. The items were placed into evidence for destruction.

On the evening of March 2nd, Officers responded to the 2400 block of Stacey Lane for a report of property damage. Hayley Webb reported a vehicle was damaged. Officers photographed the vehicle and a report has been completed.

Officers performed a subject check Wednesday morning on a person known to have an active warrant. Officers made contact with the subject at the Kohl's store, 4200 Wisconsin Avenue. A computer check through Dispatch found him to have three Failure to Appear warrants out of the City of Sedalia on original charges of Speeding in a School Zone, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, and Expired Registration. Ronald J. Blum, 57, of Sedalia, was arrested on his warrants and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Bond was set at $296.00.

While on patrol Wednesday afternoon, Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding in the area of East Broadway Boulevard and South Center Avenue. When Officers gave the driver's information to Dispatch, it was found he had a felony Pettis County Warrant for Violation of an Order of Protection. Officers took Tristan D. Fizer, 24, of Sedalia, into custody. Fizer was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending he post bond of $1,500 cash or surety.

Wednesday night, Officers were dispatched to the Heckart Community Center, 1800 West 3rd Street, for a fight in the parking lot. Officers spoke to several adults and juveniles who were involved in the disturbance. At the conclusion, three adults were issued Sedalia Municipal Court Summonses for Peace Disturbance. Apreil Zentner, 47, Matthew E. Zentner, 39, and Shannon Louise Brown, 39, all of Sedalia, were cited. All three adults also received a one year trespass warning from all city park properties. Juvenile referrals will be forwarded to the Juvenile Office for three juveniles as well.
