Thursday night, Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Stewart Avenue in reference to an intoxicated subject with a weapon. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the subject, who was intoxicated, but carrying a BB gun. The victim stated that while the subject was walking, they pointed the weapon at them. Sergio Marcos, 44, Homeless, was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree. Marcos was then transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 1000 block of Royal Boulevard in reference to a theft Thursday evening. The victim stated her ex-boyfriend had stolen some cash from her residence. Officers were able to make contact with the suspect. Cody Austin Harvey, 29, of Sedalia, was issued a municipal citation for Stealing with a court date. The next morning, Harvey was observed walking on the sidewalk near the area of South Moniteau and East 7th Street. Officers knew he had an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant on three counts of Animal at Large. Officers made contact with Harvey and confirmed the warrant. Harvey was then arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail be booked, pending a $300 cash only bond.

Early Wednesday morning, Officers observed a Blue GMC Yukon travelling eastbound on West Broadway Boulevard with expired registration from 2012. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and South State Fair Boulevard. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered the driver's Missouri privileges were revoked, and he was intoxicated. Christopher Wayne Henry, 42, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Sedalia Police Department. There, he provided a breath sample that showed his blood alcohol concentration to be above 0.08. Henry was then transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released pending charges of felony Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Revoked, and Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle.


 

Thursday night, Officers conducted a vehicle stop at West Broadway Boulevard and South Vermont Avenue. Officers made contact with the driver, and ran his information with Dispatch. Officers confirmed the driver had an active Parole Violation warrant out of Pettis County on original charges of Non-Support. Jeremy D. North, 47, of Sedalia, was arrested on the warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked pending a $1000 cash only bond.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Bothwell Emergency Room in reference to a dog bite that happened in the 2400 block of Golf Drive Thursday night. The investigation revealed that a family dog bit a juvenile while in the home. The juvenile sustained minor puncture wounds. A report will be done to document the incident.


 

Officers were dispatched to a vehicle theft in the 1100 block of West 10th Street Thursday afternoon. James Garner stated that between Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon, his motorcycle was stolen. The vehicle was entered into NCIC and MULES as stolen.


 

Thursday afternoon, Sedalia Police assisted another Officer with a traffic stop for expired license plates in the area of East 3rd Street and North Engineer Avenue. During the stop, a warrant on an occupant of the vehicle was discovered. The warrant was issued by Pettis County on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Erica M Delaney, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested on the warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail without incident, pending a cash or surety bond of $7500.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Officers met with Annie Anderson at the Sedalia Police Department. Anderson wished to report that her wallet was taken from her car while it was parked in the 1000 block of South Harrison Avenue. There are no suspects at this time.


 

Officers were dispatched to the Heckart Community Center, 1800 West 3rd Street, Wednesday evening in reference to a physical disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers saw a male suspected of assaulting one of the employees leaving the scene. Officers gave several commands to the male subject, which were disobeyed. Ultimately, the male subject was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Based on the actions of the male and his intoxicated state, he was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 12 hour protective custody hold. Cal A. Childers, 40, Homeless, was issued a summons for Failure to Obey. The employee did not wish to pursue charges of Assault.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Officers met with Peggy Fricke in the lobby of the Police Department in reference to a hit and run accident. Fricke stated that on July 30th, her vehicle was struck while parked in the private lot of the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard. The vehicle had minor damage to the front passenger side. At the time of the report, a suspect has not been identified.
