Sedalia Police Reports For August 8, 2023

Monday night, Officers responded to the 100 block of East 4th Street in reference to an unconscious male subject with injuries lying in the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene at the Bothwell Hotel, 103 East Fourth Street. The injured man was treated by PCAD shortly after Officer’s arrival. He was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center by the Pettis County Ambulance District for further treatment.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Police Department Monday night in reference to a missing person report. Nicole Maylee stated a patient had gone to an appointment at the Burrell Behavioral Health, 201 East 3rd Street. The patient failed to return to the Stoney Ridge Village, where he resides. The subject was entered into the database as a missing person.
Officers made contact with the family of an elderly subject Monday night. The family member believed the subject may be having a medical issue in her residence, which was in the 500 block of West 7th Street. All signs indicated entry was made to find the subject, who was in need of medical attention. The report was made for documentation purposes.
On the afternoon of August 3rd, Officers responded to the 1800 block of South Grand Avenue in reference to a subject overdosing. Upon arrival, Officers were able to administer NARCAN. The subject was still heavily sedated, but breathing. She was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
Officers took a report in the lobby of the Police Station in reference to a violation of an order of protection last Thursday morning. Tequila S. Tyson stated she received messages via social media from a subject that she has an order of protection against. At this time, no contact has been made with the other subject, but state charges are being requested for Violation of an Order of Protection.
Last Thursday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the Family Center Farm and Home, 1400 South Limit Avenue, in reference to a theft report. The reporting party stated a couple came into the store and stole approximately $1,788.00 worth of merchandise.
