Sedalia Police reports 12-29-17

Sedalia Police arrested 42-year-old Michelle L. Blacklock at Wal-Mart, 3201 W. Broadway, after she allegedly attempted to push a cartload of items out the door without paying for them. When confronted, Blacklock presented a false receipt. The items were collectively valued at $302.25. She was later arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released.


 

Larry W. Williams, 57, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop on a white Ford for moving violations at 3:52 a.m. Thursday at Broadway and Missouri. He was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Crack Cocaine and Driving While Suspended. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 26-year-old Jason Estep of Sedalia on a Probation and Parole violation at 205 Thompson Road on Thursday afternoon. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

On Thursday evening, Joyce Ouellet reported that someone entered her vacant residence and stole all the copper wiring and tubing from inside the house at 1609 E. Broadway. Total loss was estimated at $2,000.


 

On Thursday afternoon, Gerald James Clement, Jr., reported an identity theft to Sedalia Police. According to a report, the victim said his ex-girlfriend used his information to open several accounts and then take out multiple loans seven times, for a total loss of $13,935.85. There is one suspect.


 

On Wednesday, Sedalia Police took a report of a sex crime that occurred in the 1900 block of S. Ingram. Leads are being developed in the case.


 

On Wednesday, Mary Elizabeth Riley reported that someone threw a brick through her windshield around 10 p.m. Dec. 26, causing about $250 damage to her vehicle in the 600 block of W. 24th. There are no suspects.
