Thursday evening, Officers responded to the Bothwell Regional Health Center, 614 East 14th Street, in reference to a report of trespassing. The complainant stated a male suspect who had been recently trespassed was refusing to leave. Jerry D. Dillon, 71, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Dillon was booked and released with a municipal citation for Trespassing.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the Fav Trip, 216 West Broadway Boulevard Wednesday night in reference to an assault. The victim stated that a white male threw him to the ground, causing injuries. The victim was treated and transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center. The suspect has not been identified at this time.


 

Officers initiated contact with a car parked near West Main Street and South Grand Avenue for expired registration Thursday afternoon. A check through Dispatch showed the driver's license status was suspended and he had an active Probation and Parole violation warrant on original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Trevin Brice Umbles, 30, of Fulton, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked with an $86.50 cash only bond. A charge of Driving While Suspended has been submitted to the prosecutor's office.


 

Thursday afternoon, an Officer was dispatched to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, in reference to a hit and run accident. Kelsey Sharp said that while in the parking lot, someone damaged her vehicle.


 

The Sedalia Police Department was made aware of a runaway who failed to return to their home in the 1900 block of South Ingram after school Thursday afternoon. They have been entered into MULES/NCIC as missing.


 

Thursday afternoon, an Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a harassment report. Jimmie Payne stated someone threatened to kill her and her friend.


 

Thursday afternoon, Officers spoke with Terri Adair, who wished to report that someone had accidentally taken their license plates during a vehicle sale. They were entered into MULES/NCIC as missing.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of South Kentucky Avenue for a subject check Wednesday afternoon. The caller informed Dispatch that he thought his daughter might be having suicidal thoughts. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the subject, who stated she was fine and was not wanting to harm herself. Officers will be getting the subject in contact with different resources in town to help out.


 

Thursday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of East 9th Street for a report of found property. Upon arrival, Officers met with Lisa E. Carlock, who stated that someone had left a bike on their property and they would like it removed. The bike was a white Roadmaster mountain bike. Officers ran the serial number through Dispatch and it had not been reported stolen. The bike was collected and placed into found property.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to a hit and run accident report at the Stone Creek Apartments, 3100 Brianna Boulevard Wednesday afternoon. Anna Dobbins stated that between the evening of December 4th and the morning of December 6th, someone ran into their parked vehicle and left without providing any contact information.


 

Wednesday evening, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East 10th Street for a report of a missing juvenile. Officers made contact with Yvonne M. Miley, who stated that her 16 year old grandson ran away from home. There is no foul play suspected at this time.


 

Sedalia Police took a phone report of a theft Wednesday morning that occurred in the parking lot of WK Chevrolet, 3310 West Broadway Boulevard. Natalie Williams stated that sometime on Tuesday her vehicle was parked in a lot in the area. After departing the area, she noticed her black bag with prescription medications inside of it was gone from the vehicle. She did not wish to pursue charges.


 

Wednesday afternoon, an Officer responded to the lobby of the Police Department for a fraud report. Anatoli Kavtea said he had sent money online to a person he had never met face to face and he now believed the person was not real. A report was completed on the incident.


 

Wednesday evening, Officers met with Nikki Brown in the Sedalia Police Department lobby. Brown wished to report a runaway from the 1900 block of South Ingram Avenue. They had left earlier in the morning and have not been seen since. The juvenile has been entered into the MULES/NCIC as a missing person.


 

Sedalia Police took a report from the Asset Protection Coach for Sedalia's Wal Mart store, who reported the theft of items that occurred on December 7th. The report was delayed until they could get the video of the subject and all material related to the case.


 

Wednesday afternoon, an Officer initiated a traffic stop near North State Fair Boulevard and Pro Energy Boulevard, because the registered owner had an active City of Sedalia warrant. A check through Dispatch showed the driver was the owner. Donna June Contreras, 63, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked for her Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Nuisance Violations. Contreras had a $60 cash only bond on the warrant.


 

Tuesday afternoon, first responders were dispatched to the 2400 block of Poplar Place for an unresponsive infant. Life saving measures were performed, and the child was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center, where it was pronounced deceased.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Winchester Drive Wednesday afternoon for a property damage report. Kimberly Goetz said there were several scratches down the passenger side of her vehicle.


 

Officers responded to the lobby of the Police Department Wednesday afternoon for a report of a missing license plate. The victim stated approximately three weeks prior, she noticed the license plate on one of her vehicles was missing from Tiger Pride Auto Sales, 4207 South Limit Avenue. A report on the missing/stolen plate was completed.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Officers responded to the State Fair Spirits store, 1419 South Limit Avenue, for a report of property damage. Contact was made with a male subject, who reported that a male suspect caused damage to his vehicle and left the area with another male subject. Samuel Isiah Gravitt III, 29, of Sedalia, was located and arrested for Property Damage in the 2nd Degree. The other suspect, Hakeem Stephon Dickson, 24, was arrested for a Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway Without a Valid License. Both Gravitt and Dickson were taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Thursday morning, Timon Blackburn reported a court order violation that had occurred earlier in the morning in the 1100 block of West 16th Street. The suspect was identified, and this case is being forwarded to the state prosecuting attorney's office for review.


 

On December 3rd, Officers were dispatched to the Breaktime store, 2801 West Broadway Boulevard, regarding a theft report. They wished to report a former employee had taken merchandise and cash from the business in November. Maleenia Bishop, 19, of Sedalia, was interviewed at her residence in the 2000 block of East 7th Street and issued a summons for Stealing.


 

Wednesday afternoon, a subject, who did not wish to identify himself, dropped off a phone he had found on a table at the train station (103 West Pacific Street). Records personnel collected the phone and gave it to an Officer for it to be placed into holding as found property. There is no known owner of the phone.
