Early Tuesday morning, Officers observed a car driving westbound on East 16th Street around South Washington Avenue. Officers noticed the car was weaving in and out of the lane, and had a driver's headlight out. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle as it pulled into the Cenex gas station at 16th Street and South Ohio Avenue. The driver was found to be intoxicated by drugs and in possession of drug paraphernalia. Angela Dawn Brandes, 48 of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. Brandes was booked and released on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police observed a Honda Civic driving Tuesday night with improper registration. Officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of West 9th Street and South Warren Avenue. The driver was found to be intoxicated by drugs. Christian Faye Pike, 23, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest and taken to the Pettis County Jail. Pike was booked on charges of No Proof of Insurance, Improper Registration, and Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). Pike was booked and released pending state charges.


 

On the afternoon of December 6th, Officers conducted a warrant check in the 400 block of Albright Court. The suspect's identity was confirmed and Dispatch relayed that the person had an active and confirmed warrant for their arrest. Kiara Renee Willis, 21, of Sedalia, was arrested for her Failure to Appear warrant from Johnson County on felony charges of Stealing. Willis was taken to the Pettis County Jail, to be held pending a $7500 cash only bond.
