Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, for a subject trespassing. He was located in the store and arrested. Damean D. Simmons, 38, Homeless, was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24 hour hold pending state charges of Trespassing in the 1st Degree.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the Police Station lobby, 300 West 3rd Street on Wednesday morning. Officers spoke to a reporting party, who stated an individual had violated the terms of an Ex Parte in the 400 block of South Ohio Avenue.


 

Thursday morning, Officers responded to the Probation and Parole Office, 205 Thompson Boulevard, for a report of a subject in the area with a warrant for their arrest. On arrival, Officers made contact with the subject. A computer check through Dispatch confirmed they had an active warrant out of Morgan County for a Probation Violation on original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Nevaeh C. Hicks, 21, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

Officers performed a traffic stop on a white Ford F-250 Wednesday morning. The truck was stopped at the Wood's West store, 1400 South Limit Avenue for driving with no lights in the dark. A computer check of the driver's information revealed his license was suspended. Phillip N. Cason, 42, of Sedalia was arrested for Driving While Suspended. Cason was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police performed a traffic stop near the intersection of South Osage Avenue and West 10th Street Thursday night. The driver was found to be operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license. He also had two Failure to Appear warrants out of Cooper County for his arrest. David W. Medrano-Mencos, 28, of Sedalia, was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle With out a License. Medrano-Mencos was booked for his two Failure to Appear warrants for Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway With out a License and Identity Theft. Total bond for the warrants was set at $1,000 cash or surety.

Thursday evening, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle that was speeding near the area of North Ohio Avenue and West Jefferson Street. After identifying the driver, he was found to have a revoked driving status. Colten Miner Ditton, 32, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a car in the area of South Thompson Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard for moving violations. The driver was intoxicated, and was also driving on a suspended license. Tiffany L. Wolfe, 43, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (Prior Offender), Driving While Revoked,  and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.  Wolfe was then transported to the Pettis County Jail. Wolfe was placed on a 12 hour safekeeping hold.
