Wednesday morning, a vehicle was stopped near West 16th Street and South Missouri Avenue after a problem was seen with the vehicle's registration. The temp tag, which was partially obstructed, did not return on file. The temp tag was forged. Chad Harrington Ezell, 49, of Warrensburg, was arrested on a charge of Forgery*. Ezell was transported to the Pettis County Jail, to be placed on a 24 hour hold.


 

Early Thursday morning, Officers were dispatched to the Casey's store, 1601 East Broadway Boulevard, for a report of trespassing. The suspect was located, and arrested. Randy Loren Veeder, 47, Homeless, was arrested on a charge of Trespassing in the 1st Degree. Veeder was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle on East 11th Street near South Ingram Avenue because it had expired registration. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered the driver had a revoked driving status. Elizabeth Aimee Davis, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Revoked. Davis was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.

On the night of February 1st, Officers conducted a stop on a vehicle because it was not properly displaying registration. The stop was conducted in the area of South State Fair Boulevard and North Woodlawn Drive. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Lynette D. Ehlers, 41, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated (Alcohol). Ehlers was transported to the BRHC for a blood draw, then taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevy Silverado near South New York Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard with expired registration plates on the morning of February 2nd. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to the Sedalia Police Department, where he refused to provide a breath sample. A search warrant was obtained, and a blood draw was conducted. Christian Ramos Ramos, 20, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated (Alcohol)**. Ramos was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


 

Wednesday morning, an Officer was dispatched to the Salvation Army Office, 1200 East Broadway Boulevard, for a found property report. Julie Stokes turned over an ID that was found. Multiple unsuccessful attempts were made to contact the owner, and the ID was then turned into evidence for safekeeping.


 

*The report notes Ezell's physical condition as "average" due to being intoxicated. There was no mention in the report of Ezell being charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

**The only charge listed is DWI. There is no mention of a charge of Minor in Possession (311.325) at this time.
